Robert Shuler
OWNER
Robert Shuler has been designing landscapes on the Monterey Peninsula since 1993. Inspired first by nature and then by architecture Robert has a keen eye for bringing the two together to create spaces that inspire anew. Having a background in horticulture, construction, and stone work gives added weight to his design capabilities.
As a certified Master Gardener he knows the importance of proper planting techniques and the continued care involved in keeping a garden healthy and looking it’s best. Robert enjoys working closely with each client to bring about gardens and outdoor spaces that will provide lasting beauty and enjoyment.
The gardens he creates are designed with an emphasis on drought resistant plant material paying special attention to specific plant’s water needs. Irrigation is an important aspect of any landscape and as a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor and a past member of the Irrigation Association he is qualified to bring the latest water saving technology to his designs.
Hiring Robert was the best decision we made for our landscape remodel. His design, vision, and guidance from concept through construction was invaluable. To get started, Robert asked thoughtful questions about our lifestyle and preferences. Quickly he turned around a blueprint that met our needs exactly.

I hired Robert to design my front entry which was dead and weedy. He was specific in his choices and everything, now 6 months later, is thriving. The plan is very water wise and subtlety colorful and beautifully balanced. Also, he was extremely pleasant to work with and has come by after the initial planting to give me tips on pruning, etc.
